Welcome to our Sports Arbitrage Forum

Hello. I’m Ben Thurlow and I started trading sports arbitrage in 2004 with my girlfriend (now fiancée!) Samantha

We’ve set up this forum so that we can share information with other traders out there (i.e you!) and we hope that you’ll enjoy contributing positively to the discussions. Everybody is welcome but we would really appreciate it if you would follow our guidelines:

- Newbies/novices are welcome here and you should feel free to ask any questions you have in the Novice’s FAQ board. However, please read though the board first so that you can avoid asking questions which have already been asked and answered by others. Equally, if someone new to the board does ask a repeat question, we’d appreciate it if members would keep it polite and just direct the offender to the relevant thread via hyperlink rather than get nasty about it.

- Sam & I have posted reviews/information about various relevant companies & services i.e bank/credit card companies and bookmakers.  If you spot something that needs updating, please feel free to add your information to the relevant threads so that everyone can benefit

- The bookmaker complaints board is there for all of us to use whenever necessary. The gaming industry is worth a lot of money these days and a solid reputation is essential to most bookmakers. They will take notice of complaints lodged on the board but please follow the rules. Sticking to the facts and reporting them dispassionately will help maintain the credibility of  the complaints procedure we’ve established

As an aside, I’d like you to know that I also run a website called The Arb Shop which reviews many of the sports arbitrage services out there. I’ve copied these reviews in the Software Discussions board so that everyone can add to them by sharing their own experiences. If you have complaints about a service, you can use the board to air them but please just report the facts & try to be dispassionate so that the service owners can recognise the forum as a place to help to resolve issues rather than just defend themselves against attacks. If you are the owner of a service or are starting one up, please don’t spam the board with your announcements. Instead, just send Samantha or myself a message and let us know how we can test your service for a review on the site.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this; we really do hope that you enjoy using the forum  Smiley

Best wishes
Ben Thurlow
